HKCEC voted best venue for the 8th time

(Hong Kong, 7 January 2011)     The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has been voted the “Asia’s Best Convention and Exhibition Centre” for the eighth time in the Industry Awards 2011 conducted by CEI Asia magazine, a leading convention, exhibition, meeting and incentive industry publication. 

Winners of the CEI Industry Awards received the highest number of votes in their respective categories from industry heavyweights at the CEI survey conducted in November 2010.  The HKCEC is ranked by most of the voters who are key decision makers and influencers as their preferred venue in the region.

Mr Cliff Wallace, Managing Director of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited (HML), said, “Receiving this award again demonstrates the continued support and recognition from the readers of CEI Asia, who are our clients, partners and peers.  The award also affirms the professional service and dedication of the HML team.  We take the challenge to set the bar for venue and event management amidst keen competition from new and expanding venues in the region.  Our efforts were well paid off and we continued to receive excellent compliments from event organisers.
