The Golden Bauhinia is one of our signature restaurants,
and it's important to us that each diner enjoys
a superb experience on every visit. In April 2007
we decided to selectively renovate some aspects
of the Golden Bauhinia's dˆmcor with the aim of enhancing
its appeal even further. Specifically, we upgraded
the restaurant's lighting, adding individual lights
for every table to create a warm, relaxing ambience
for every dining party. We also redecorated the
reception area to add a touch of extra class, added
automatic doors for energy-saving and convenience,
repainted ceilings, and further improved the toilet
facilities.
These renovations beautifully complement the
new award-winning set menu created by our talented
Chef Lui, available for a limited promotional
period. Starting with Deep-Fried Prawn coated
with Mashed Squid and Shredded Pastry served on
a Mango Sauce (winner of a 2005 'Gold with Distinction'
Award), the menu follows with a 2006 Gold Award-winning
dish: Steamed Crab Claw wrapped with Sliced Watermelon
and Eggwhite served on a Mango Sauce. Other highlights
are the chef's Wok-fried Beef with Homemade Chilli
Sauce in a Crispy Nest, and two delicate desserts
