The much-talked-about new show from French organiser Eurovet, Hong Kong Mode Lingerie, took place at the HKCEC on 3 and 4 April. The event attracted a total of 140 exhibitors, who were exhibiting brand-name beachwear and lingerie in the Private Lingerie section and specialised fabrics and materials for these kinds of garments in the Interfiliere Asia section. Featuring a stunning fashion show on its first day, HK Mode Lingerie also hosted a popular trends forum in which new directions in style and fashion were introduced. The show brought in a total of 3,500 visitors, who came not only from the Asia Pacific region but from as far afield as Europe to enjoy the heady atmosphere and the excellent assortment of brand-names and high-tech fabrics on show. Given the enthusiastic response to the show and the clear and growing demand across the region for lingerie and beachwear fashion, the organiser has announced plans to bring the event back to the HKCEC in 2008.
