For some, the HKCEC's homepage on the web is the first glimpse they get of who we are and what's happening at the Centre. It has the potential for making a powerful impact, and with this in mind we're redesigning both the flash lead-in (the animated segment that first greets you as the website loads) and the homepage layout. Our new flash lead-in will emphasise the Centre's position as a gateway to China and beyond, reminding viewers that buyers and visitors who use the HKCEC are superbly positioned for contact with the most important trading nations and areas round the globe. Upon reaching the homepage, website visitors will then find a new promotional box highlighting the major events at the HKCEC for the coming two months. In this way we're promoting important shows more dynamically, as well as helping many website visitors get information they need fast and effectively.
